EFT Solutions
EFT Capture Solutions (Electronic Funds Transfer) are better suited for large retail chains or merchants that have a large transaction volume.
EFT Solutions integrate merchants' existing commercial automation system with Cielo's systems, allowing Visa card transactions to be captured by magnetic stripe readers and chip readers.
TEF Dedicado (Dedicated EFT)
A Dedicated EFT solution, developed by companies licensed by Cielo, allows merchants to establish a direct channel with Cielo, 24 hours a day, and enables fast and quick data transfer.
This solution is recommended for companies with large transaction volumes, especially retail chain stores-where stores are under the same CNPJ-since this condition would allow the use of a single EFT Concentrator. This needs to be integrated to merchants' existing commercial automation system and certified by Cielo.
TEF Discado (Dial-Up EFT)
The Dial-Up EFT solution is provided by Cielo to meet the automation needs of merchants for whom the use of a Dedicated EFT solution is not cost effective. The solution's software is previously configured to enable access to the Cielo network. It must be integrated to merchants' existing commercial automation system and certified by Cielo.
EFT IP
The EFT IP solution is designed for merchants with heavy transaction flow, whose needs cannot be met by a POS or Dial-Up EFT.
With this solution, developed by companies licensed by VisaNet Brasil, merchants can establish a direct channel with Cielo, 24 hours a day, through an IP protocol, which enables fast and quick data transfer. The EFT IP solution has the same features as the Dial-Up EFT and Dedicated EFT solutions. It must be integrated to merchant's existing commercial automation system and certified by VisaNet Brasil.
This system does not allow transactions to be sent from a single central location, as the Dedicated EFT solution does.
