One example is Lynx, a highly accurate anti-fraud system, based on artificial intelligence technology. Lynx is a unique system, available to Visa card issuing banks, which enables identification of fraudulent cards at the moment they are used to make a purchase.

Merchants that react accordingly are awarded. Those who fail to comply with security rules are advised and/or given specific training. Merchants who consistently fail to act accordingly receive a warning and/or have their affiliation with the system canceled.
