Automatic Supply Delivery
The automatic supply delivery system is designed to manage the delivery of paper rolls for electronic terminals. This routine provides greater convenience and practicality for merchants, because it frees merchants from having to contact Cielo to request more supplies.
Below, the steps of this delivery service:
1. Merchants receive the affiliation kit, following confirmation of their enrollment.
2. A service representative installs the electronic terminal and supplies merchants with three rolls of paper: one which is installed in the terminal and two replacements.
3. Following installation, our system identifies the terminal model and registers the type of paper roll it is using.
4. After the first transaction, our system generates a supply order.
How the next kits will be delivered:
1. Cielo's system calculates the average number of transactions per kit delivered, that is, the number of transactions performed with one roll. The system determines how many rolls should be shipped, just as it determines the terminal model and type of paper roll.
2. Once 30% of the current shipment has been consumed, the system will automatically ship another kit. Since each shipment is calculated based on the average number of transactions per roll, the system will never ship less supply than would be necessary.
It is important to adequately store these paper rolls in order to ensure their printing quality and the legibility of information. These rolls contain thermal paper, which should be properly stored, avoiding exposure to heat, which can cause irreparable damage.
