Affiliating with Cielo
Accepting Visa cards means assured sales and a guarantee of higher profits. To get all of these benefits, first the merchant needs to join the Cielo system, which is an easy and fast procedure. Merchants must have an account at one of our partner banks, where all funds from their Visa card sales will be credited.
Time and fees? All negotiations are based on a price list provided by Cielo, but other aspects of the company, such as type of industry, level of automation, potential revenue, and other information, are also taken into account.
In addition to Cielo's sales team, we also have partner banks who work as affiliation agents throughout the country. Following an analysis of the affiliation request, the merchant is contacted by our call center in order to confirm information and then receives the affiliation kit, which includes an agreement with Cielo, a welcome letter and signage material.
Changing Banks
Changing to a different bank has some restrictions. So, merchants who are already affiliated with Cielo and who wish to have their funds from Visa card sales credited at a different bank should contact one of the banks below and request a change to their registration data.
