There is nothing better than always being able to check your statement, so you can follow your financial activity and, then, reconcile your sales. That is why Cielo's website enables merchants to view their financial data in an online statement, which details all of their Visa card and Visa Vale card sales transactions. Here, financial data can be sorted out and viewed in several formats: latest transactions, credits receivable, customized statement, transaction history, and last paper statement.
With this online service, merchants may choose to stop receiving paper statements and get all of their information directly from the website, since it allows merchants to view their sales data every day and at any time. Also, they are able to export their financial data in two formats: Microsoft Excel (.xls) and Text File (.txt). This will allow them to conduct a more detailed analysis of their sales and to export this data to their financial systems.
By choosing the Latest Transactions option, merchants can, for example, view a log of all sales made by the company during a certain time period. They can arrange this information by deposit or credit date. The standard statement offers some pre-defined options 5, 15 or 30 days or a time period of their own choosing can be specified.
Considering their sales volume, merchants can also define how many transactions they want to view on a page: 20, 40 or 60 transactions. The statement shows sales details, adjustments and rental payments for the POS terminals.
Another advantage of this online statement is that retail chains can view their sales separately by branch store location or jointly.
With the Credits Receivable option merchants can view their financed sales, which will be paid in installments or at a future specified date. This makes it much easier for merchants to reconcile their sales.
The Customized Statement option allows merchants to create several models of statements, customizing them to their company¿s needs.
Merchants can test customized models before saving them, and add extra columns for information that is not included in the standard layout.
Retail chains can create their own model and implement it in their stores. After saving a statement, merchants can view it on the screen or download it without viewing the data.
Online statements also include sales cancellation letters, which can be viewed and printed, in case merchants need proof that they requested cancellation of a certain sale.
